Heritage II Digital Turn Mattress

The Heritage II Digital Turn dynamic mattress replacement system provides very high optimal therapy for the prevention and treatment of pressure ulcers in any care environment.

The Heritage II Digital Turn combines a very high risk dynamic mattress with the additional feature of up to 30 degree lateral turn function, reducing interface pressures by up to 50%, resulting in greater stimulation to the capillaries.

Manual turning of patients can be intrusive, especially during the night and often results in disturbed sleep. The Heritage II Digital Turn mattress reduces the use of patient care packages.

With the option of full, right or left turn up to 30 degrees to assist in a manual or provide automatic turning at variable times between 5 – 30 minutes.

The Heritage II Digital Turn is constructed of deep 8” cells, in a cell-on-cell design and provides dual therapy modes i.e. alternating and constant low pressure for patients up to 255kg/40 stone.

The static base and head cells provide support and stability, the leg zone provides lower residual interface pressure in this highly sensitive area, while dynamic therapy is provided.

The auto-detection feature allows patient weight/position to be automatically detected and pressure set, ensuring optimum patient comfort.

The timed static mode automatically returns to alternating mode after 20 minutes, safeguarding patients against the risk of pressure damage.

• Continuous automatic turning can reduce the need for care, where a patient needs to be turned on a regular basis.
• Single handed care can be easily achieved using the turn assist. The amount of effort needed to manually turn a patient is significantly reduced, taking away the need for a second carer.
• Activation of the turning valve fitted to each side of the mattress allows for both assisted turning when required or automatic unassisted continuous turning reducing care support.
