The biocides have been specifically designed to wipe out the most difficult and prevalent contaminants known to man. These include Coronaviruses, MERS, MRSA, Norovirus, Legionella, E-Coli, Salmonella, Listeria, C-Difficile 027 and Avian Flu. All have been laboratory tested to internationally recognized standards and comply with BSEN 1276, BSEN 13704, BSEN 1656, BSEN 14204 and BSEN 13697.

When used with the TriBioSan range of biocide products, the dry misting machines have been designed to kill 99.9999% (log 6) of all airborne and surface pathogens within 30 seconds. These machines deliver a fine mist of particles which reach all the most difficult areas to access, filling every space in the room or vehicle. Rooms and vehicles do not have to be decanted and are safe to use again immediately after the decontamination process, thus saving time, disruption and money.

What does it mean to kill 99.9999%( log 6 )?

It is now common to see claims of log reduction on disinfecting and sanitising products – 99% kill rate, 99.99% kill rate, log 3, log 5 and so on. But what does this actually mean for you?

So 99.9% seems pretty effective, but is it really?

The log kill rate is effectively is the efficacy of the product. This term comes from the logarithmic scale which is used to indicate a percentage kill rate. With every step, the number of pathogens present is reduced by 90%.
